To find books, you can search the library's catalog below. The local catalog will let you see what is at the Marion Campus Library as well as other libraries in the University Libraries system and allow you to search for materials available statewide through the OhioLINK catalog.

The Marion Campus Library (and a great many academic libraries) is organized by a system known as 'Library of Congress'. That means that books are grouped together by subject rather than author, letting you know where you can go to browse and potentially find some interesting books on the topic.

If you have trouble locating an item in the catalog or in the library shelving (stacks), stop by or contact the library staff for assistance - we are ready to help!

Listed below are some databases that are good starting points to find articles.  See the full list of University Libraries' database subscriptions here. Use the search box under Find a Database or select a subject area from the list on the right to locate a database.

Open Source Journals

In addition to books and articles, websites are another information source. Below are links to a handful of websites that can help get you started, but there's a lot more out there!

Course reserves

Professors sometimes place textbooks and other course materials in the library on reserve.  Closed Reserve materials usually have short-term loans and are located at the Marion Campus Library circulation desk.
